This special prepared category of connecting rods need special manufacturing capabilities because of the friction developed between the rod and the crank pin bearing.

A special manufacturing process that we in DP follow lets us lighten the steel rod but retain it's strength and at the same time give the rod the capability of runing against the bearing without pealing or braking.
