Design and manufacture of piston forging tooling is carried out in-house. Wide ranges of newest development forgings are available on the shelf for modern engines to reduce lead times for modern production. Forging blanks are carried out for popular cars and from each forging different piston configuration can be machined. Pistons are always forged using a custom designed specific lubricant to give a perfect internal finish adding strength to the piston, heat-treated and artificially aged to allow piston to meet the highest T6 specification.

When you receive a dp piston kit, you have to know that it is made from high quality material that is processed in one of the leading mills in Europe. Dp pistons are forged from precision weighted and turned billets of highly certified 2618 or 4032 material, eliminating inferior finishes from stress raisers. All of our pistons are manufactured using state of the art facilities to aerospace standards on electronically controlled & isothermal forging presses, with work piece and forging dies at the same temperature helping to eliminate stress as there are no temperature variations throughout the part, giving added grain compression, strength and durability to the finished piston.
